DESCRIPTION
This session will describe the state of hemovigilance in different parts of the world. Four different national hemovigilance systems will be described in depth with emphasis on organizational and governing structures. A panel discussion will address the influence of organizational and governing structures on the quality of data in hemovigilance systems. The current status of hemovigilance in the USA will be presented.
