DESCRIPTION
Using a presentation of slides and case studies, attendees will be provided information on regulatory requirements for investigation and documentation of equipment failures, a framework for determining the investigation scope of impact on products, and information on how to confidently evaluate equipment failures within a blood center or a transfusion service environment. Examples of how to document the investigation to meet record keeping requirements will be given.
