DESCRIPTION
This session will provide a general overview and update of cell-mediated immunity. Immune cells and cytokines involved in cellular immunity will be reviewed. Critical steps involved in generating antigen specific T cell responses will be discussed. The speakers will address the concept of adoptive immunotherapy and provide examples of novel clinical applications of disease-specific T cells. Different methods of generating disease- specific T cells for immunotherapy will also be evaluated in detail.
