Pandemic influenza disaster planning efforts should be underway in transfusion services and blood centers. This session is designed to assist in preparing to respond to an outbreak by reviewing the potential impact of pandemic influenza on the blood industry from "donor to recipient" and discussing issues which can affect continuity of business operations.
