DESCRIPTION
Through lectures, panel discussion and audience participation, this session will discuss tissues, tissue banks and the important roles of AATB, EBAA
and the FDA . Recent supplier issues and recalls will be discussed. There
will be discussion of the steps taken to set requirements for tissue
suppliers, to obtain data about tissue banks and to decide whether to
approve their qualifications and extend certification. Information that is
used for re-certification will be discussed.
