Description
Speakers will discuss current tissue service standards and accreditation requirements and give suggestions on ways to meet these requirements. The FDA regulations applicable to hospital tissue services will also be discussed. There will be an opportunity for participants to discuss the challenges they encounter regarding compliance and to receive information on practical ways to overcome them.

  • Describe the Federal regulations that apply to hospital tissue services.
  • Describe the TJC, AABB and CAP standards for hospital tissue services.
  • Discuss challenges that hospital tissue services encounter regarding compliance with these standards and regulations.
