Monitoring Blood Administration Policies
Description
This session will furnish attendees with methods and tools to create quality indicators for use in monitoring transfusion practices and for complying with standards. Collection and analysis of gathered data will be discussed. Monitoring of blood administration policies will be presented.

  • Assess tools to analyze collected data to ensure compliance with standards/regulations.
  • Determine methods to monitor blood administration policies and procedures.
  • Provide methods to collect data for quality indicators.
