Description
In today's highly competitive environment it is critical that an organization plan and prepare for the future by developing a solid strategic plan. A strategic plan defines where an organization is going over the next several years and how it will get there. Development of the strategic plan helps clarify the organization's plans to ensure all leaders are focused on what will make the organization successful. This session will focus on several strategic planning methods including three blood center examples and ways to successfully implement the plan to ensure engagement from the entire organization.

  • Apply action-oriented proven practices in developing a multiyear strategic plan.
  • Describe how to engage the organization's Board of Directors and provide on-going communications.
  • How to make the plan actionable within senior management teams and throughout the organization.
