Description
Where do you start when developing a training program? How do you determine what your learners need to be able to do upon completion of training? This program describes a process for developing effective training programs that includes identifying training needs, developing training content to meet those needs and evaluating training effectiveness. It also discusses key elements necessary to ensure that training programs meet regulatory requirements and performance expectations. Please bring a copy of the session handout with you to the program.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • List the five phases of the ADDIE (instructional design) process.
  • Select learning methods for different types of learning.
  • Write effective questions to uncover needs and test learning.
  • Write objectives with behavioral verbs, level of achievement and conditions included.
