In honor of TRANSFUSION's 50th anniversary, this session will highlight 5-6 outstanding papers published in the journal TRANSFUSION during the last 12 months. Short summary presentations of selected papers will be presented by the authors and cover a diverse range of areas including immunology, clinical transfusion medicine, cell therapy and issues related to blood donation and testing.
