Description
A presentation on effective adult teaching techniques will set the stage for the second presentation that will review the QSEs in common terms.
Attendees will then be divided into small groups where they will be given a list of movies nominated for "Best Picture" in recent years and a list of the QSEs from AABB's Standards. Each group will be asked to find an example of each QSE in one of the movies. At the end of the allotted time, a representative from each group will present their list of movies and the principle illustrated in that movie to the entire group.
To illustrate this activity, supplier qualification is illustrated in "Juno" as the star of the movie interviewed the prospective adoptive parents to determine their suitability for her child, while documents and records (actually falsification of records) is found in "A Few Good Men."

- Extract quality information from a familiar, albeit unrelated, source and apply it to the workplace.
- State the preferred methods of presenting adult training.
- Use common language to describe QSE's.
