OBJECTIVES:
  • Assess how genetic polymorphisms may affect the efficacy of peripheral blood hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell mobilization for transplantation.
  • Review current issues regarding mesenchymal stromal/stem cells and their uses in cellular therapies.
  • Explain the effects of culture parameters on the efficacy of CTL expansion for cellular therapy applications.
  • Discuss methods for monitoring the effects of storage temperature on umbilical cord blood stem cell survival and potency.
