Description
Regenerative medicine has emerged as an innovative scientific field that focuses on the development of new approaches to repairing cells, tissues and organs for clinical applications. While initial successes in this field have provided various therapeutic opportunities clinically, challenges still exist in developing complex tissue systems for clinical use. To overcome these challenges, innovative technologies have been developed and applied. Some of the technologies that are critical to the development of clinical therapies will be discussed.
