Developing a Cell Therapy for Insulin-Dependent Diabetes
Description
This session will present the development of four exciting cell therapy applications, including use of embryonic stem cells for neuroregeneration and immunotherapies for cancer. For each cell therapy application, the speaker will discuss the various stages of development from research studies to clinical trial. Aspects such as funding, regulatory and administrative hurdles as ideas are moved from preclinical models to the bedside will be discussed.
