Description
Many in Transfusion Medicine have a goal of obtaining a SBB certification. There are many options for SBB Programs through CAAHEP/AABB, but many blood bankers are choosing distance education to get this training. This program shares the experiences of two distance SBB students. They will review from application to SBB success what one could expect in this type of a training program.
- Discuss of what to expect in an SBB Program.
- Provide perspective on time management and learning strategies while in the SBB Program.
- Review application process for a SBB Program.
- Share the experiences from two different SBB Distance Programs.
