  • To assess the feasibility and diagnostic accuracy of fetal RhD detection in maternal plasma.
  • To describe how to establish rapid molecular blood group typing and apply it to the management of sickle cell anemia patients.
  • To recognize that patients with the weak D phenotype are at risk of producing anti-D.
