  • Demonstrate the molecular basis of allelic variation within the ABO gene.
  • Describe the molecular basis of a novel allele resulting in Knull phenotype.
  • Recognize the value of flow cytometry in combination with molecular modeling to provide insight into ABO structure and evolution.
