The new catch phrase for business is "social responsibility." If you read any news articles, those businesses that are thriving are organizations that are very engaged in the communities in which they do business. This session will examine what social responsibility means and why it is important to be involved in the communities we serve. Through the exploration of case studies, various means to engage your communities will be discussed, as well as the benefits and rewards that will result.

  • Discuss the meaning of social responsibility and why it is important to engage in acts of social responsibility.
  • Recognize various means to engage with your community.
  • Review the benefits and rewards to those organizations that are socially responsible.
