Description
United Blood Services of California was recognized by the California Council for Excellence with the Prospector Award in 2013. The organization is currently working toward the next level of certification, the Eureka Award. This session will discuss how an organization might approach applying for state or National Baldrige recognition. During the session, the speakers will briefly review the Baldrige criteria. They will share how their organization utilized employee teams to review the criteria and make recommendations for further quality improvements. The speakers will discuss the benefits their organization has realized since the Baldrige quest began several years ago.
- Define the elements of Baldrige quality criteria.
- Describe team approaches for an organization to approach the criteria.
- Review tips for submission for an award.
