One of the most exciting developments at community colleges is the growing number of community colleges that are conferring baccalaureates. Many of these are applied baccalaureates that address specific workforce needs, and graduates are completing the programs in record numbers. Some were developed to address other needs. International students in several states have begun to take notice, and foundations are commissioning studies. This session offers an overview of the latest issues surrounding the growth and development of baccalaureates at community colleges in 20 states.
