Description
With unprecedented enrollment growth and requests for workforce development services, and in the face of sharply declining state support, Virginia’s community colleges embarked on an ambitious strategic plan to expand access, student success, and workforce services while maintaining affordability and diversifying resources. Chancellor DuBois assembled a task force composed of innovators—led by President Templin of Northern Virginia Community College—that generated innovations to realize the strategic imperatives through improvements in effectiveness and efficiency. Presenters will describe significant changes to Virginia’s Community Colleges and the actionable items to emerge from Virginia.
