Description
This session will explore the promotion of faculty and staff development focused on data-driven education practice. During this interactive forum, the presenters will discuss the relationship between culturally relevant pedagogy and retention and completion of students in urban community colleges. The presenters will also describe a model of practical ways participants can use to increase student success through the use of culturally relevant themes in instructional design and academic administration. Participants will learn about the institutional value and impact of a culturally relevant paradigm in executive administration, academic administration, student services, and classroom instruction.
