This workshop focuses on the deliberate collaboration of business with higher and K–12 education. This collaboration began with an aggressive move on the part of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber to be more inclusive and reach out to higher education and K–12. The economics of education are critical, and the Council for a Better Louisiana has always provided a nonpartisan overview of evidence on how important community and technical colleges are to the well being of our state. This collaboration has created a best practice that colleges can use to enhance existing programs.
