Description
Learning Objectives:
1. Differentiate between the roles of both the consulting nurse and expert witness and how both roles interface with the attorney.
2. Identify the steps involved in successful case analysis and outcome.
Part 1 of 2: This session focuses on the dual roles of the independently practicing LNC and how nurses assisted the attorney to achieve a successful outcome for the plaintiff's family. The session will be centered on an actual case in which the attorney utilized both a consulting expert and a testifying expert. This case will be presented first by the attorney, and then the consulting expert will speak on her role and how the initial medical chronology was completed.
