2. Identify the steps involved in successful case analysis and outcome.

Part 2 of 2: This session focuses on the dual roles of the independent practicing LNC and how nurses assisted the attorney to achieve a successful outcome for the plaintiff's family. The session will be centered on an actual case in which the attorney utilized both a consulting expert and a testifying expert. Part 2 will focus on the role of the nursing expert through the deposition phase and how this role interfaced with the consulting expert role. Ms. Krooswyk will speak to various aspects of the case and how issues were resolved prior to the deposition being taken. She also will speak to some of the issues that occurred with the defense nursing experts during their depositions and how the case concluded.
