Janet S. McKee, MS, RD, LD/N, has been a registered and licensed dietitian for over 23 years. Ms. McKee is the president and owner of Nutritious Lifestyles, Inc. Nutritious Lifestyles has a staff of 35 dietitians and dietary professionals that offer nutrition consulting services to the healthcare and foodservice industry in Florida, as well as nationally. Ms. McKee is a nationally recognized author, presenter, and nutrition liability expert. Ms. McKee has provided consultation to legal professionals including attorneys, legal nurse consultants, educators, risk managers, and insurance personnel, for over 10 years. Ms. McKee has provided programs for both the AALNC national tradeshow, as well as the Florida Chapter. Ms. McKee has also spoken at state and national conferences, such as PESI, and the American Dietetic Association. Ms. McKee?s special topics of interest and expertise include the nutritional care of adult, geriatric and bariatric patients and residents, as well as nutritional therapy for the prevention and treatment of protein-calorie malnutrition and pressure ulcers.Martie Hawkins, RN BSN CWOCN CCM, is a certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse Consultant at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho and also consults with Horizon Home Care and Hospice. Her extensive nursing career includes over 24 years of nursing, 15 years of WOCN (ET) specialty nursing and 11 years in Legal Nurse Consulting. She is the owner of Hawkins Medical/Legal Consulting Company. Martie is a graduate of Florida Community College and University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida and is a Certified Case Manager. Martie has also completed an Enterostomal Therapy Certification course from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, an Associate in Arts Degree from Manatee Junior College, Bradenton, Florida and an Associate in Arts Degree - Paralegal/Legal Nurse Consulting from Kaplan College, Boca Raton, Florida.Martie is a contributing author for Nursing Malpractice, 3rd Edition, Spring 2007 - ?Wounds and Pressure Ulcers ?
