Learning Objectives:

1. Define perspective of pharmaceutical litigation.

2. Identify sources of discovery for pharmceutical litigation.

Mr. Thornton will address key elements of discovery in pharmaceutical cases and the importance of evidence obtained from these sources for the three parties generally involved in pharmaceutical cases: claimants, manufacturers and prescribing physicians. In addition, Mr. Thornton will discuss how discovery resources commonly utilized in pharmaceutical litigation can provide important evidence for use in any personal injury claim.
