Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss Elder Abuse legal issues and identify signs of Elder Abuse.
2. Recognize professional obligations and determine which legal documents and investigation apply for their client involving litigation for elder abuse.
Ms. Wortman will review the legal documents associated with elder abuse issues and discuss how to identify signs of elder abuse and understand the purpose for restraining orders. This session will include definitions of financial, physical and emotional abuse. Additionally, the speaker will provide an outline on how to proceed in litigation involving elder abuse.
