Learning Objectives
• Understanding the millennial learner's (the net generation's) needs and expectations to maximize dental curriculum delivery and effectiveness
• Apply the new media techniques of video blogging, Real Simple Syndication (RSS), and podcasting in creating content for the new dental curriculum
• Participate in the creation of a short video blog and podcast
• Syndicate the podcast via RSS
• Prepare and upload to an appropriate Internet server or iTunes University Store
• Access the finished podcast
• Develop a resource needs lists to effectively approach administration for "buy in" for similar projects
• Learn how to evoke institutional collaboration for the creation of audio and video podcasts

Participants will observe the creation of podcasts accessible by computer and handheld devices by collaboration among Baylor College of Dentistry faculty, dental students, and support staff. Participants will experience the basics of creating "portable" dental education materials for on demand viewing, on and off campus.
