Diane Tien, Perkins + Will Diane Tien is the Co-chair of the AIA New York City Chapter committee of Women in Architecture. Along with her Co-Chair Nancy Goshow , Diane has worked to re-invigorate the committee with inventive programs like “Speed Mentoring” (a tiered mentoring program adopted from Speed Dating) and a bi-monthly lecture series featuring leading women in the profession as role models. Leadership development and mentoring are two areas that have long been important to Diane, she has also participated in the Shadow an Architect program through the AIA Diversity Committee and the ACE Mentoring program, both of which work to promote the design and construction industry by pairing high school students with practicing professionals for an in-depth perspective. As an Associate and Project Architect with Perkins+Will in New York, Diane Tien has experience in institutional/higher education and corporate interior market sectors, she currently specializes in healthcare design. |
