This panel symposium examines implications of the current global financial crisis for governments, corporations, communities, consumers, employees, the design of products/services, systems of production and consumption, and supply chains. It seeks to provide a forum for the advancement of alternative modes of engagement by scholars, practitioners, artists, and the public, and for the development of inter- and multidisciplinary means of resolving the crisis creatively, reliably and sustainably. The panelists will discuss lessons learned in the fields of crisis management, sustainability, art and aesthetics in order to provide economists and financiers with alternative sources of guidance.
