We have more generations of employees in the workplace than ever before: Generation Y, Generation X, Pre-Boomers/ Boomers, and Radio Babies. With GenZ soon to come, each generation brings different personality/work styles, attitudes, ethics, perspectives, and history. We are aware of different ages, but don’t know exactly what the impact is or what to do about it. How does your generational position affect your work? How can we maximize collaboration to meet organizational goals? We’ll discuss what each generation brings to the table; why they act the way they do; what was going on in the world when they were born; and, finally, determine how to more successfully work together.
