Description
Editing and proofing a document is like refinishing a piece of furniture: the construction is complete—now the job is to make it look great before others see it. Unfortunately, many of us don’t have the time to include these critical steps when we write at work. Our writing may mean what we want it to, but if it doesn’t look professional, some readers may dismiss it. We’ll go over common pitfalls, and you’ll return to work with a list of areas that you need to watch the next time that you write something. Bring along something you’ve already written and apply some of these techniques on the spot!
