Mary Coté, CPIM, worked for seven years as the supply chain planning manager for a frozen potato product manufacturer. She managed the forecasting, inventory planning, and master scheduling of three plants. She is currently a business consultant with Deltaware Systems, Inc. Coté is a frequent speaker at forecasting events around the world. She has a degree in business, with a major in accounting, from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Michael Gilliland, CFPIM, is product marketing manager at SAS Institute, Inc. He has worked in consumer products forecasting for more than 15 years, with positions that include director of forecasting at Sara Lee Intimate Apparel and director of demand management solutions for Answerthink, Inc. Gilliland holds a bachelor of arts in philosophy from Michigan State University and a master's degree in philosophy and mathematical sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He has presented at numerous conferences for professional organizations including APICS, the Institute of Business Forecasting, and the International Institute of Forecasters.
