Talecris Biotherapeutics, a global developer and manufacturer of critical care treatments for individuals with life-threatening disorders, had revenues of more than $1 billion in 2006. But the U.S.-based company neede to expand its presence in Europe, so company decision makers worked with a 3PL partner to optimize its global supply chain.
