As Chief Quality Officer for Worldwide Operations at Sun, Lew Feucht is responsible for driving Operations' Quality policy, processes, and Quality Management System. Sun's aim is to be the best in the industry in how we manage quality, by driving decisions based on high quality data, by pushing the detection of quality defects as far upstream to their source as possible, and ultimately, by preventing these defects at their source. Prior to his role as Chief Quality Officer, Lew was responsible for managing Sun's High End Server line in Operations, directly responsible for the cost, quality, order lead time, and time to market. Prior to that, Lew was responsible for Sun's Hillsboro, Oregon operation, which included Operations Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Management, Order Fulfillment and Logistics for Sun's High End Server line.
