Embraco, a global leader in the manufacture of hermetic compressors, has revolutionized the management of its global supply chain in the last five years. The case study presented here aims to demonstrate all the steps along this transformation, including the implementation of a global sales and operations planning process; the revision of order fulfillment processes in America, Europe, and Asia; and the formalization and enhancement of the company's demand management processes and capabilities.
