Alan Milliken, CFPIM, CIRM, CSCP, has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, including production, logistics, quality and process control, industrial engineering, operations planning, and operator training. Milliken is a consultant in BASF's Business Process Optimization group and currently serves as NAFTA Regional Coordinator for BASF's global supply chain/logistics competency system. Milliken also is the vice president of education for the APICS Southern Alabama Chapter and a member of the board of directors for the Institute of Business Forecasting. He contributed as a subject matter expert on the teams that developed the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) program and the IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) certification program.
