Description
Health care is in the midst of a major crisis. Costs are escalating, nursing shortages abound, and errors in patient care are a nightly news regular. Karen Vecchio, CFPIM, CSCP, a senior consultant with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, and Cindy Jimmerson, president, Lean Healthcare West, a trauma and emergency care specialist, show how the Toyota Production System (TPS) methodology can be applied beyond the manufacturing floor. Learn through a series of case studies how implementing TPS principles can dramatically improve the clinical environment. Gain understanding of the A3 problem-solving methodology and how to apply it to any process.
