Before joining Le Moyne, Deborah Reinhardt Youmans was involved in Newspapers in Education Programming at Syracuse Newspapers and the United Way. She is a member of APRA’s 2008 Conference Curriculum Committee, a former President of APRA-Upstate New York, former Board member of the New England Development Research Association (NEDRA), and has served as MARC 2007 Conference Chair, NEDRA 2006 Co-Conference Chair, MARC 2006 Marketing Chair and APRA 2005 Research Fundamentals Track Chair. She holds membership in APRA, the National Association for Fund Raising Professionals, Central New York Association for Fund Raising Professionals, National Committee on Planned Giving and the Planned Giving Council of Upstate New York. Youmans has presented at numerous regional and local conferences for APRA, AFP, CASE and NEDRA as well as human service nonprofit agencies such as the Alzheimer’s Association. She holds an MBA from Le Moyne College, and bachelor’s degrees in business administration and in psychology from Columbia College.
