Amy Carrier, Associate Director, Prospect Management,

Amy Carrier is responsible for prospect identification, prospect management and data mining efforts as well as developing campaign analytics and performance metrics. She began working for Georgetown in 2001 as a researcher before moving to prospect management. Previously, she was the manager of the Alliance for Regional Stewardship in Denver, Colorado. She has spoken at numerous professional conferences, including the American Planning Association and the American Society for Public Administration. Carrier holds degrees from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas; and Weston Jesuit School of Theology, Georgetown University and the University of Colorado, Denver.

Brock Silvey, Associate Director, Prospect Management,
Northwestern University

Brock Silvey joined Northwestern University in 2004 and has held in his current role since 2005. He shares responsibility for overseeing the operations of both the research and prospect management staffs, managing department workflow, building team strategies, and designing and implementing prospect management policies. Silvey is a member of the planning committee for the APRA-Illinois and served as programming chair from 2005 to 2007. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Northern Illinois University.

Description
Prospect management systems can be an incredibly powerful tool for development offices. In this session, learn how two universities have taken their PM systems beyond the basics; they are now using them for campaign analytics, tracking the movement of prospects through stages and providing new levels of accountability and transparency. Speakers will discuss the challenges and intricacies of introducing these new processes into the office culture.
