Armando Zumaya, Vice President of Development, The Children's Defense Fund
Armando Zumaya serves as CDF's Vice President of Development where he oversees CDF's fundraising efforts and manages the Development team. Mr. Zumaya has been in fundraising for 22 years in a variety of roles that have given him a unique perspective on development offices, prospecting and role of research. He was most recently the Chief Income Development Officer for the American Cancer Society, California Division. Mr. Zumaya received his B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.

This session will feature a case study for using proactive prospect research and management to build a major gifts program in an organization with little or no history of major gifts.
