Description
The University of Arkansas Medical Sciences (UAMS) has undertaken a unique collaboration in developing a case study of the commissioning process and outcomes for their new Surgical Suites and PACU project. This research collaboration brings together a team involving students from Purdue University and the University of Arkansas Little Rock, the design team, contractors, and commissioning agents to participate together in the commissioning process. This session will explore the collaborative process that is being used and present findings. This session will enable you to:

* Identify opportunities for collaboration in managing successful health care projects.
* Apply lessons learned to building a collaborative team.
