Description
Circuit-level energy monitoring provides a finer resolution of data for evaluation of energy conservation measures, dynamic submetering, equipment failure prediction, electrical fault detection, systems benchmarking, and other benefits. Until recently, the ability of health care facilities to cost-effectively monitor electrical consumption at a circuit level has been limited. Learn about this new technology, which has proven very successful in helping other facility types better understand and address electrical consumption, resulting in improved energy performance, reliability of systems, and cost savings. Some challenges encountered in adopting the technology for health care facilities will also be discussed. This session will enable you to—
• Explain the benefits of circuit-level monitoring.
• Identify potential applications of circuit-level monitoring at your facility.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Describe how circuit level monitoring can be used to improve clinical workflow.

  • Identify how circuit level monitoring can be used to achieve organizational objectives such as operational efficiency.
  • Identify the potential applications of circuit level monitoring

  • Understand the benefits of circuit level monitoring
