Description
Health care facility managers, design professionals, commissioning agents, and contractors are routinely asked to significantly reduce health care facility energy consumption and costs without spending any capital funds or adding maintenance staff. Many have perceived this challenge to be akin to Mission: Impossible. This session will encourage attendees to accept this mission and teach them how to succeed by developing and implementing self-funded strategic energy plans. This session will enable you to—
• Develop a health facility strategic energy plan (StEP) that benchmarks existing facility energy consumption and costs.
• Implement a strategic StEP using current maintenance and energy budgets and other noncapital funds.
