Description
The American Hospital Association (AHA) recently launched the Sustainability Roadmap for Hospitals, an online resource for facilities seeking to achieve sustainability and savings. In this session, members of AHA’s sustainability committee will share stories of energy, water, and waste stream management as well as other sustainability initiatives that have improved the bottom line and created a culture of change with surprising effects that go beyond savings on utility bills. Learn how to use the AHA Sustainability Roadmap’s comprehensive set of how-to project guides on topics ranging from codes and standards compliance to identifying LEED synergies and selecting the right team. This session will enable you to:

Stretch your limited resources using the Sustainability Roadmap tools.
Set new energy reduction goals and engage in ASHE’s new and improved E2C Chapter Challenge (Battle of the Buildings) program.
Integrate the tools of commissioning and retrocommissioning into your facility’s operating strategies.
Prepare your success stories and identify helpful tools in this new interactive site.
