  • Compare and contrast pharmacy and nursing perspectives on return on investment (ROI). (P/T)
  • Define the pharmacist's role in project management within health systems. (P)
  • Define the pharmacy technicians role in IT projects within health systems. (T)
  • Describe issues in organizational prioritizing of technology based on outcomes that support the use of computerized physician order entry (CPOE), barcode-enabled medication administration (BCMA), clinical decision support systems (CDSS), and electronic medication administration records (eMARs). (P)
  • Explain project management strategies for planning, testing and implementing technology including maintenance/optimization and ongoing education. (P/T)
