As a clinician advancing into a clinical management position, you may be challenged by leadership responsibilities for which you have not received formal training. In this workshop, learn how to build key relationships and teams within your organization, develop your staff, track performance, and develop strategic plans. This full-day workshop will feature instructional presentations, facilitated case exercises, and lively discussion.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Apply strategies for effective pharmacy and interdisciplinary team leadership.
  • Describe methods to effectively balance (multitask) clinical patient care with management responsibilities and manage your work effectively.
  • Develop a successful business proposal to justify a new clinical program, service, or hiring personnel.
  • Identify actions to better manage your boss and communicate with senior leadership.
  • Summarize the framework for a successful return-on-investment (ROI) analysis for a new service or program.
