Description
Improve medication safety and ensure compliance with medication management standards by applying the TeamSTEPPS™ teamwork system used in the Military Health System. Presenters will demonstrate how the TeamSTEPPS model improves communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills among healthcare professions – and optimizes patient outcomes.
- Apply concepts of team-based care and collaboration in your practice setting.
- Demonstrate how to implement TeamSTEPPS in your practice setting.
- Describe medication safety best practices developed as a result of multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Describe the TeamSTEPPS, an evidence-based teamwork system and the knowledge, skills, and tools used.
