Description
Coping with daily patient demands, residents, staffing issues, and IT implementation often means that precepting and preceptor development falls by the wayside. Do you struggle to not only maintain your precepting abilities but to improve them as well? This session is for you. We’ll hone in on best practices to help you and your fellow preceptors rise to new heights.
- Describe best practices and common deficiencies of residency preceptor development programs.
- Describe the framework of an effective residency preceptor development program.
- Identify activities and accomplishments that satisfy the ASHP Residency Accreditation Standard on requirements of preceptors.
